Last Chance To Speak
[Lyrics & Music – Micke Wennborn]
Four years four walls
Same lies
You wore me down
And didnt tell me why
Late-night tears
And a borrowed ring
Kissed my mouth
Then made the sting
You took my trust
And spent it thin
Left me to bleed
Then smiled again
Now the page is turning
Now the truth is burning
You read your name in ink
And you can’t unthink
Four eyes say what’s true
Four eyes me and you
Tell me what you did
Tell me what you hid
Four eyes say it now
Or I’ll let it out
Four eyes face to face
Or I’ll break your place
You found my diary
On your floor
Saw every line
And wanted war
All the names all the nights
All your cheap little alibis
You lost your cool
You lost your grace
I hates I ever
Sa your face
But now you call
Now you shake
Now you beg
Before I’ll make
Now the clock is folding
Now your truth is holding
One last chance to speak
Before I’ll set it free
Four eyes say what’s true
Four eyes, me and you
Tell me what you did
Tell me what you hid
Four eyes say it now
Or I will let it out
Four eyes face to face
Or I’ll break your place
You want the shelf life gone
You want that page torn out
But every word you fed me
Turns around now
No more smoke no more pride
No more running side to side
Come on look at me
And decide
Four eyes say what’s true
Four eyes me and you
Tell me what you did
Tell me what you hid
Four eyes say it now
Or I’ll let it out
Four eyes face to face
Or I’ll break your place
Four eyes truth or pain
Four eyes say my name

About The Song
Last Chance To Speak is a song about accountability, truth and the final opportunity to tell one’s own story before someone else does.
Despite its confrontational tone, the song is not primarily about revenge. In fact, its central conflict exists because the narrator would prefer the truth to come directly from the person who lived it.
The recurring phrase “Four eyes” captures the song’s core idea. Before there are audiences, books, rumours or public consequences, there is a simple invitation: two people, face to face, speaking honestly.
Throughout the lyrics, the narrator describes a relationship built on secrecy, omissions and unanswered questions. The frustration comes not only from what happened, but from the continued refusal to acknowledge it.
The song repeatedly returns to the same challenge: speak now. Tell the truth. Own your choices. Explain your actions. Not for the sake of punishment, but for the sake of honesty.
What makes the song powerful is that it presents accountability as a choice. The person at the centre of the story still has agency. The opportunity remains available. The truth can still be spoken voluntarily.
The tragedy is that every delayed conversation makes that opportunity smaller.
At its heart, Last Chance To Speak is a song about the moment just before private truth becomes public history.
One final conversation.
One final choice.
One final chance to speak.
*During production, Micke decided that the song did not fit Wild Women Of Wongo’s artistic direction. At the same time, everyone involved felt the song was simply too good to shelve. It was therefore removed from the Wild Women Of Wongo catalogue and will instead be released under Liv Fredheim as a solo artist. We wish our highly valued and much-loved singer the very best of luck with her new single. She has our wholehearted support – 100%.

I grunden handlar Last Chance To Speak om ögonblicket precis innan privat sanning rättmätigt blir offentlig historia.

Korduv fraas „Four eyes“ kannab endas laulu peamist mõtet.
Loo keskmes oleval inimesel on endiselt võimalus tegutseda. Uks on endiselt avatud.
Seetõttu eemaldati see Wild Women Of Wongo repertuaarist ning avaldatakse hoopis Liv Fredheimi sooloartistina. Toetame teda sajaprotsendiliselt!
